I’ve seen an uptick in in pre-fit barrels, when the barrel maker will tenon and chamber the barrel for 75 to 100 bucks, people think they are saving. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have done several older guns with OxphoBlue. I have not tried the method you listed, but I have had good results by doing the first coat with Oxpho Blue and then doing another coat with Oxpho Blue cream, sometimes 2 coats with the cream. </p>
<p>One, thing I plan on doing very soon, is striping one of the old 22LR and doing rust bluing it.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The one issue to be aware of with magnets is, if they are really strong, you will get metal fillings stuck to the &#8220;soft&#8221; side of your jaw, and they won&#8217;t be soft anymore.</p>
<p>I use leather most of the time, including just wrapping my leather glove around a part. (or course I do take my hand out 🙂 )</p>

an ultrasonic cleaner, as it will damage the finish.</p>
<p>An ultrasonic cleaner works by creating cavitation<br />
bubbles, and they can pull the finish off a gun.</p>
<p>As for the cleaner (Soap), you may want to look into Oil Eater<br />
as it appears to be a bit milder (I would also dilute it more).</p>

<p>Note that the screw holes did not line up on<br />
my Versa Vise, but they may on your Parror Vice.<br />
The screws are not really needed since they have magnets</p>

<p>I&#8217;m going to try to post some picks of the stock later this weekend before I start cutting&#8230; I have already sanded most of it down already.</p>
