Keep a eye out for estate sales/yard sales if you have any where you live. When I first started I needed some better quality files and handles to go with them, on a budget, got very Blessed as I stopped by a yard sale. The gentleman was a retired machinist, got a whole wood fruit box for only $20.00, older Nicholsons, Grobets, and others marked USA. Also a bunch of wooden handles with nice metal ferrules. Have found boxes of old quality screwdrivers for cheap, grind them as needed.
