Got one of these in and it is new and the owner says he is having jamming and ejection issues. This gun has an extractor like a 1911 and it flops around which tells me it doesn’t have enough spring tension. Problem is that when I take the extractor out and look at it I don’t think it can be bent cold very easy. The first thing that came to mind is I would probably break it if I tried to adjust. Anyone ever bend one of these extractors? Thanks Frank
Just curious, since Kimbers aren’t cheap and it’s new, why not have the factory look at it rather than take a chance on breakage?

It should bend. It is a spring so if it breaks it was going to with rather little use. Ken
