I just got in a Browning BAR in 30-06 and the gas regulator nut is stuck bad. I have soaked it in Kroil, put heat to it, and it won’t budge. Any suggestions? I got it in the vise and don’t want to put too much pressure on it. RD
Cut it off? Though you may need to look at using more force, make sure it isn’t staked or otherwise more permanently attached. Jeff

Well it is finally off (more Kroil and more leverage) and I can see why it did not want to come loose– massive rust and carbon deposits!!!! Thanks for your response
