Any thoughts on Duracoat?
I have just gotten a kit containing the Duracoat & the DVD.
I have read on the net that even with the oven cure that it’s best to leave the painted parts alone for 24+ hours
I have used the non-oven cure Duracoat. I just did a S&W mod. 28 and made my own camo pattern using the techniques they used on their video. It turned out really nice. I cured it about 20 minutes after each coat and let it set for about an hour after the last coat. After that I was able to reassemble the gun without marring the finish. If you blast the gun first you will get a nice matte finish. Hope this helps.
