Will the new style carrier with the pin and spring replace the old style with the carrier rocker? No luck finding a rocker.
As far as I know, the new style carrier fits the old guns. Might call Brownell’s or Numrich and ask, they can usually tell you which one you need by the markings on the rifle. Jeff

That is a good question. One I don’t know the answer to. When you find out let us know. I would imagine the new style would work on the older gun. You can always make a new rocker. Ken

Sir, I replaced the old style carrier in one , with the new style , NO issues with the swap. This was done to cure the “Marlin Jam” on a rifle used in CAS. Hope this of help. Bill
