I was asked to fix a broken firing pin from a NEF 12 ga Pardner. I managed to find one at Numrich, but can’t seem to get thru to them to set up an account.
Looking at the schematic to this firearm, the firing pin looks similar to one that fits a Remington 870. After reading different discussions on other websites, every once in a while someone makes vague ref to these pins being interchangeable. So, I thought I would make my first post to the guys who seem to be in the know – the GCA members!
Simple question then – Will the firing pin from an 870 fit the NEF Pardner? Thanks in advance, Mike
Don’t know about the interchangeability. But have you considered re-tipping the firing pin? It is not that hard, especially if you have a lathe.
Never had account with Numrich. I just buy the parts and the customer pays for the actual cost. I don’t mark up. -TL
