Customer brought in a Sterling for a new firing pin problem is the slide will not come off. I know you turn the small screw on the right side about a quarter turn pull the slide back then up in back and off. Any idea when that doesn’t work what to try?
The screw may not be turning the slide stop down to allow the slide to move as far to the rear as needed. Could be the block cannot move down far enough as it is burred and damaged. Good luck on that/those guns. Ken
