The DF&R 1911 Course consists of approximately 15 hours of lecture and 25 hours of bench time.
This course covers all phases of repair of 1911s.
We will not be covering any “custom” work but will be showing the function and reliability of the gun, trigger job included.
The gun should function with 100% reliability when finished and have a crisp trigger let-off with no hammer follow-down.
Successful completion of the Handguns section of the course.
Suitable 1911 of course! Any 1911 will work and several are better. As with all the courese, the more you bring, the more there are to work on.
