HANDS ON CLASS
TRIGGERS

We cover the design, function, and repair of multiple trigger systems to include handguns, rifles, and shotguns. Students will be performing trigger jobs and repairs on numerous firearms and upon completion of the class will have a strong foundation base of knowledge to diagnose and repair almost any trigger system.

PREREQUISITE

Completion of the handgun or rifles section of the AGI Pro Gunsmithing course. (If you have completed other sections, then all the better).i

REQUIRED FIREARMS

Single Action revolver of some kind, Colt, Uberti, even the Heritage .22 revolvers work for this application * IF YOU DONT HAVE SOME OR MOST OF THESE, CONTACT KEN AND DISCUSS WHAT YOU DO HAVE.

  • Remington 700
  • Mauser 98, Springfield 1903, Enfield 1917, Japanese Arisaka any two stage bolt action rifle
  • Remington 870/1100/760/740 series

  • Savage 110 series
  • S&W revolver
  • Beretta 92 or Sig double action auto pistol with hammer
  • Winchester 70
  • Ruger 10-22
  • Beretta 92 or Sig double action or similar double action hammer fired gun

If you don’t have all of those, Ken will work with you to determine what to bring

Not required but would be a GREAT benefit to have in the class:

  • Browning Hi Power
  • Luger
  • Browning BAR rifle….sporter not the military version
  • Any rifle with double set triggers. Many muzzle loaders have double set triggers.
  • Savage 87 series
  • Colt double action revolver
  • Over/under or side by side shotgun with a single trigger

  • 2 oz. Ball Peen Hammer Dial Calipers
  • Set of Diamond Needle Files Bench Block
  • 6” Barret File *Vice Grips (not necessary but nice to have)
  • 6” & 8” Regular File
  • 1”x1”x6” Stone
  • Nail Polish-the more outrageous, the better
